teteArt Criticism Art criticism is the discussion or evaluation of visual art. Art critics usually criticise art in the context of aesthetics or the theory of beauty. Now on to the criticism of one of my pieces. the piece that i'm going to do is my water color piece. One of the things that was hard for me during the sketch was to find the vanishing point of the perspective. Also it was hard to draw the prespectiveness of the boardwalk I guess??? What i mean was it was difficult to draw and make everything look proportional in the piece. But from there the painting process was very fun and went pretty smoothly. one of the things that I would want to fix is how i should have made my lines sharper and waited for the patient to dry before moving one. You can tell because some of the things neer that water look like they blend into it. And they are supposed to be sharp and look like different objects. But my favorite part of the piece is the sky. The sky looks the best to me because the blues show darks and lights and I used a little bit of yellow to make the sky not look like pure white. But the brainstorming process for the piece was a no brainer. I knew i wanted to do something related to the beach.
3.Is copying always plagiarism or is there a gray area? Explain your thoughts. I would say no. This is because artist copy types of style and techniques and look at bob Ross he copied and he is super famous. This is because if you copy someone's technique for clouds they can sew you for that. And i copied an idea to do something made out of lino cut and that is not plagiarism.

To do my piece is used tape to cover up white pace so i could paint over it. I made a lacrosse stick, my monogram, and my lacrosse number. This is a piece that shows my love for the game of lacrosse. if i were to do it again it would ave presses the tape down so now paint leaked through. I am very happy with the outcome of this peice
The weebly would not let me down load the warm up pieces i will just tell you about them. It was the tree because it helped me with texture. The next one was with the 9 boxes and doing the different styles of watercolor technique. It helped me with the sky.
My piece was one point perspective. The most difficult part was getting the board walk to look correct with the perspective. I did my portrait of Tyler Blevins also known as Ninja who is the most talented Fortnite player. I know him because of his streams and his youtube videos.
The prosses was me tapping the paper to the board, editing the photo, using a projector to trace the photo, then paint. The medium I used was paint. I find that the whole price is successful, and i wish i could have erased the unused pencil marks. The most helpful post is the blind drawing. This is because my peice isnt all about detail and it is weird how it still looks like a person.
I found that how the eyes were five across and tight in the middle of the head. It's weird because when you start it is looks really weird. Ok After the in process blog post I sanded down the bumps and rough spots. Then I painted my whole piece. I made some changes earlier to the leafs by bending them and shaping them.
I feel like the color is very good in the piece just like spongebob's home. If I were to do it again I would have scored and slipped better because I had some cracking on the inside. I plan to paint the piece in acrylic paint in the color of spongebob's home. I want to put in the details for the pineapple. I want to make this piece a change jar.
The most difficult part was getting the shape, and gettin the leafs to stay and hold up. I find that the shape and the structure of the piece is good. I started out making the pinch pot and then coiling up to make the shape. In between each coil I scored and slip. After I got the shape I put and small cylinder on top of the shape and scored and slipped the leafs onto the cylinder. I learned from this how to make different shades of many colors. You make brown by mixing two colors that are on the opposite sides of the color wheel. My favorite is mixing Orange and blue.
